Doorstep Diaries: History & Homes of Scenic McNeil- Sun. May 2, 10:00AM

West of the Las Vegas Strip, near the medical district, lies McNeil Estates, a stately Vintage Vegas residential neighborhood. Thick with mesquite trees, 1940s McNeil embodied the romance of the American west: generous lots, rambling ranch homes, and even roaming horses! Through the 1950s and 1960s, McNeil Estates grew to include "Cinderella" ranches and extravagant custom builds for city's elite businessmen and entertainers.

Join NPF for a new walking tour, "Doorstep Diaries: The History and Homes of Scenic McNeil."

Participants will:

• Explore the stately streets of McNeil Estates
• Witness a wide variety of midcentury residential architecture
• Meet with friendly locals
  • Experience stories- both simple and sensational- of McNeil Estates' early and influential residents

Tour will meet at the corner of Ashby and Strong in McNeil Estates.  Curbside parking.  Registrants will receive a final text confirmation with reminders and final details 24 hours in advance of the tour.
