Description

This workshop focuses on the economic and sustainable benefits of historic preservation and adaptive re-use of old buildings. Participants will learn about using sense of place as a tool for community development, development strategies as related to old buildings, and tax credits and incentives for preservation funding. Existing case studies of successful preservation projects will also be discussed, including a discussion of the newly renovated Historic Westside School.

4.75 credits are available for AIA and APA through the Urban Land Institute.
