Summary
Description
Join Nevada Preservation board member Catherine Wines and Nevada State Historic Preservation Office historian Jim Bertolini for a short breakfast presentation on the economic value of historic preservation!
Historic places matter – buy why? There’s a lot of reasons, but one that’s often forgotten is their value as economic development assets. Historic buildings and places provide unique resources for place-making in a community, spaces for small business incubation, attractions for heritage tourism, and a host of other economic benefits. This short presentation will explore these ideas, and some of the programs the State of Nevada offers to bring these benefits to your community.
The program includes a light breakfast.
Thank you to the Nevada State Historic Preservation Office and the Elko Area Chamber for sponsoring this program!
